Cisco Voice Support Technician - Manchester - £30k + benefits


I am delighted to offer an opportunity for an experienced IT Support professional with at least 4 years’ experience of 2nd/3rd line supporting Cisco phone systems and LAN/WAN networks.


Relevant experience, accreditations and the ability to learn quickly will be essential, as are exemplary communication and client service skills.


This is a varied, challenging and highly rewarding role with regular opportunity to be involved in supporting emerging as well as established technologies.


The candidate should possess a very good working knowledge of Cisco phone systems with experience supporting and administering Call Manager Express and/or Call Manager and Cisco phones as well as Cisco LAN and WAN equipment including switches, routers and firewalls.


The ideal will be at least Cisco CCNA or CCNA Voice accredited as a minimum, though lesser or even non-accredited individuals would be considered providing they have a good hands on level of experience and knowledge of the core phone systems.


In addition experience troubleshooting any of the following would be advantageous:


• Windows Server (up to and including 2012)

• Microsoft Exchange

• Server Virtualisation (HyperV / VMWare)


Working effectively both alone and in a team environment is fully expected, with good organisational and interpersonal skills, particularly in communication with both IT and non-IT literate individuals.


The position is office based, supporting the client base through a number of remote access Technologies.
